Members of our union in the National Maternity Hospital continue to be met with no response from the management of the Hospital regarding their grievances and outstanding issues. Some have been brought before disciplinary proceedings for refusing to ‘follow a reasonable request’ despite this request contravening their lawfully taken work to rule industrial action.

If the concerns of our members continue to be met with silence and non-engagement, they may be forced to escalate the industrial action from work to rule into work stoppages.
